Of all the weapons created the sword and dagger have had the longest period of use and have played an important role in European history and culture.
From seax to schiavona discover at first hand the diversity of European edged weapons. This seminar will give an overview of the development of swords and daggers and a rare chance to handle some of the most beautifully designed edged weapons in our collection.
Booking Information
All of the seminars run from 10:30 to 16:00 and take place at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds.
The cost is £30 per delegate.
Lunch is not provided, but there is a bistro and a café plus a picnic area in the Museum.
Booking is essential as the seminars tend to sell out quickly and limited to 20 delegates per seminar.
