Occasionally weapons have been developed which change the nature of warfare. This seminar examines the impact of some of these weapons from the English longbow, used to such devastating effect during the Hundred Years War, to the wheellock, the first truly mechanical firearm to the self-loading pistol and machine gun.
This seminar examines in depth what our curators consider to be some of the most influential weapons ever made.
Booking Information All of the seminars run from 10:30 to 16:00 and take place at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds.
The cost is £30 per delegate.
Lunch is not provided, but there is a bistro and a café plus a picnic area in the Museum.
Booking is essential as the seminars tend to sell out quickly and are limited to 20 delegates per seminar.
