The Basket-hilted Backsword Stud Earrings are 1.3cm square, with butterfly fastenings for pierced ears.

Cast in pewter with cut-out heart detail this range of jewellery's decoration has drawn inspiration from a panel on one of the finest examples of a Scottish basket-hilted sword held in the Royal Armouries collection. Although made about 1750 the design is still very contemporary in feel.
