The Basket-hilted Backsword Wire Drop Earrings are 2.5cm long and 1.1cm wide at the widest point. They are for pierced ears.

Cast in pewter with cut-out heart detail this range of jewellery's decoration has drawn inspiration from a panel on one of the finest examples of a Scottish basket-hilted sword held in the Royal Armouries collection. Although made about 1750 the design is still very contemporary in feel.
