To purchase a product or just to put it into your shopping basket for a later decision, all you have to do is choose the item & any associated product choices (such as size) you require then click the Add to cart button. You can view the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on View cart. Add items to your basket until you are ready to complete the order and proceed to checkout. While viewing the contents of your cart you can change quantities or remove items at any time by ticking the Remove box on the right then Update. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We aim to answer any enquiries promptly & pack and ship your order within 48 hours of your order being received.
To place an order you have to accept our terms and conditions by ticking the box during the checkout process. You will be required to enter the delivery address and your contact details in case we need to get in touch regarding your order and for shipping. The final step is to input your payment details and to confirm the order. Once you have confirmed the order a confirmation page will be displayed that an order has been placed online.
The goods on our website are an Invitation to treat only. This means we will only accept an order when we, (The Royal Armouries Museum) send you an email informing you that we have received your order and have accepted your request to purchase.
This is in addition to the confirmation email that your order request has been placed on the website & forwarded for processing It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
If an item has been incorrectly displayed on our website we reserve the right to refuse an order for the item, if you have placed an order for this item we will contact you letting you know that a refund has been issued and informing you that you may purchase the item at the correct price.
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. The total cost of your order is the price of the items plus associated delivery charges. Payment is taken in sterling, (UK currency) your card will be debited to the equivalent exchange rate. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by our payment service provider WorldPay & the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorize payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of goods. We accept the following cards: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Visa Purchasing, JCB, Solo, Switch/UK Maestro. We do not accept the following methods of payment online: cheques, postal orders or cash. If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order please send by post but do not send cash.
If you wish to purchase by telephone or cheque please contact us. Processing of your order is reserved against your card at the time your order was placed, but not be processed (charged) until point of dispatch. If for some reason a purchase fails we will contact you within three working days using the contact information supplied by the customer.
We aim to deliver in 7 working days within the UK, within 7-14 days within Europe and within 28 days to any other destination.
We deliver to the UK, Europe, North America, Australasia and most international destinations. We do not accept orders from the following countries-
Belarus, Estonia, Ghana, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Yugoslavia.
Each product has a postage & packing charge added; this can be viewed when the item is added to the basket, and during the checkout process. Pleased be advised that you are responsible for any import duty that may be charged on delivery of your order. If you are unsure, we advise you to check with your own customs and excise department before placing an order.
If you change your mind, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days starting from the day after the goods were received this is known as a cooling off period.
If you wish to return an item for a refund please do so within 28 days. The item must be unused, with the exception of faulty goods we cannot accept the return of certain items that have been opened or used, for example (but not limited to) CDs or other recorded material and perishable goods. See Contact for return address.
If you wish to change or cancel an order then please contact us as soon as possible on 0113 2201873 quoting your order number as orders are often sent out the same day. If the order has already been shipped you will have to ensure the goods are returned.
If you are returning the goods because they are faulty or incorrect due to an error on our part we will refund the delivery cost of returning the goods to our warehouse. If you change your mind and simply wish to return the item, we will only refund the cost of the goods not the shipping.
For your security, when returning goods we recommend that you obtain proof of postage and a signature upon delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for returned items that go missing in the post. If you are returning goods from overseas, please contact us by email or post before returning an order.
As soon as we have received the returned item we will initiate a refund to the account that was originally debited. The cost of the goods will be credited to your account and should reach your account within 7 working days depending on the speed of the credit card issuers refund process.
