The most numerous type of cavalry in England around the time of the English Civil Wars in the 17th century was the harquebusier, named after the short-barrelled flintlock guns called harquebuses with which they were equipped. This type of helmet, called a harquebusier's pot, was the characteristic English type.
The Lobster Tail Helmet Candle Snuffer is 4.5cm high, and 2.8cm wide at the base.
