Handmade and finished in Bath, England this distinguished bust of Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson is made from British gypsum plaster.
Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, was a distinguished Royal Navy flag officer and national hero particularly famous for his victories against the French during the Napoleonic Wars.
Born the 29th September 1758, Nelson died on 21st October 1805 after being mortally wounded by a French sniper at the battle of Trafalgar.
The bust depicts Lord Nelson in a dignified pose with a scene of moulded items that are symbolic of his life, such as pistols and a navy hat, just above the base.
The base is embellished is with a quote from the memorable signal that Nelson sent out to the fleet before the battle of Trafalgar:
'England expects that every man will do his duty'
The Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson Bust come boxed and is accompanied by a swing card that is decorated with a caricature of Nelson, the above quote, a biographic information and a letter.
