Romano-British Horse Brooch

A faithful reproduction a 2nd Century Romano-British bronze brooch. The original is dated to the 2nd Century and is a bronze plate brooch featuring a galloping horse. The body and neck are inlaid with green enamel, dappled with white spots. Found in a house in Roman Verulamium, it may be seen in the Verulamium Museum, St. Albans.
