Experience the thrills and spills of live jousting this Easter Bank Holiday weekend as the Royal Armouries hosts a three-day tournament.

Knights in full armour will battle on horseback in an authentic display of medieval jousting as they compete for the Queen’s Jubilee Trophy.

Watch the drama build through the heats on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday at 12 noon and 3pm.

The tournament reaches its climax on Easter Monday, with play-offs at noon culminating in the final clash at 3pm.

Parade

Before the final at 2.15pm there will be a parade of the knights and their heralds. Don’t miss the pomp, pageantry and passion of a true medieval tournament. Join in and dress up in your medieval finery.

Atkinson Action Horses

Atkinson Action Horses is a professional company of stunt riders and trainers, who perform across the UK and around the world. They appear regularly on prime-time television and in blockbuster films – with recent credits including The King’s Speech, Robin Hood and War Horse.

Children’s Craft Activities

Cheer on your favourite knight with a special flag made in out Heraldry workshop.

Tickets can also be purchased from the Museum on the day of the show.

How to buy

Select the show time and ticket type you want, then select how many you require, then "add to cart".

Repeat for each different show time or ticket type.

You can check how many tickets have been added to the cart at any time by clicking on the shopping cart icon at the top left of the page.

Getting your tickets

  • Collect on the day of the show from the museum sales desk.
  • Bring your receipt with you as proof of payment.
  • Bring some form of identification (drivers licence etc).
  • Please collect 15 minutes before the show time at the latest.
